Hidden Hinge Fabrication for Hollowware Forms
Workshop will focus on creating a hidden hinge lid that can be incorporated into your teapot, vessel or box design. This "hands-on " workshop will use the O'Dwyer Hidden Hinge pancake die designed by master silversmith Kevin O'Dwyer as a teaching and production tool. Students will fabricate the lid components using the die form, incorporate hinging and final fit the hinged parts during this two day workshop.
The hidden hinge workshop can be incorporated into one of the week long workshops available from Kevin including Teapot and Vessels and Exploring Hollowware forms.
