Box Construction and Fabrication for Metalsmiths
This workshop will focus on the endless possibilities and opportunities to create unique jewellery and silverware using box fabrication metalsmithing techniques. Students will have the opportunity to work on jewellery concepts including bracelets, rings, lockets and pendants or explore hollowware forms including vessels, boxes and teapots during this "hands-on" workshop.
Master silversmith Kevin O'Dwyer will work with students from initial concept to a finished piece. A combination of skill and technique based demonstrations with one to one tutoring and problem solving will take place throughout the workshop.
